Build a Rain Barrel

Once in place, your rain barrel will capture water that would otherwise run off your roof and into the storm drain.

Materials Needed:

• Ace 32-gallon plastic trash can (Ace no. 7131451)
• Wire window screen, 6 inches by 6 inches square
• 8 small bolts, nuts and washers
• 3/4 inch hose bib
• 3/4-inch MHT to 3/4-inch MPT adapter
• 90 degree PVC street elbow, 3/4-inch
• Thread seal tape
• Cinder blocks
